What are good workouts for rugby?
I am thinking about trying to play rugby for my college club team in the Fall. They aren't very good and I am athletic enough to be alright, but I would like to know good weightlifting ideas. I think I would most likely play a wing position (I am 6'4'' 175ish with good speed). I lift 3 to 4 times a week and usually Bench (4 sets of 4-6 reps at 150lbs), dumbbell curls (3 sets of 8 reps at 35 lbs), usually 3 sets on the seated row machine, 3 sets on the shoulder press, a tricep exercise, a forearm exercise, calf raises (3 sets of about 15 at 115lbs), and legpress (3 sets of 10 reps at about 220lbs). I usually do all of these each time. I'm telling you the weights to give you an idea of my strength. If you have any suggestions that would be great. Thanks.
