How could you find this funny?

i was watching big time rush and it was the one where gustavo was like all hippieish and kendall said that "everything was gonna be okay. gustavo is gonna go home and relize the song is horrible and kick his cat" how in the world is that supposed too be funny? i dont get some tv shows these days. animal abuse is not funny.someone pleaze explain this to me.
